Yeah just finished palying the game to the last update and duude... I spaused the game since 0.20 and waited for updates to stack.
Is this now a kinetic novel from this point onwards?
I used to find the game fun and even thouh there weren't seggs scenes. I remember enjoying the seggs innuendo. However, I found the game rly boring if you only count the content from 0.20. I though this game could manage nice story with seggs scenes here and there but it seems like dev's decided to go all out in going to hell. The prblm is, I'm not rly a fan of pure p0rn I like when the balance between great story and seggs scenes is done well. Up'till 0.20 I honestly though it was doing great and was prbbly one of the games I was the most hyped abt. A pity how it turned out...
The story is great though, however the lack of choices or player interaction was rly getting to me at some point. I'm also not rly a fan of how it keeps switching from the vatican pov to the bunker pov. If it was only 1-3 time it'd be manageable. However it happened so much it's actually frustrating. I'd prbbly not be feeling like this if I was playing the game every time an update comes out. However you rly feel it when you binge the game.
Another point I'm not rly a fan of is how the story (it's more the MC) has kinda become focused around Maddie. I mean yeah, I can understand she's nearly crippled, she's his childhood friend... And that doesn't rly bother me, but Idk I feel like even after that Maddie will be a main focus and I'm not rly a fan of that. I rly like the beginning a lot more. I hope I'm just spouting nonsense (the fact that I hadn't played the game for quite a long time and expected more is prbbly taking a part in these feelings of mine lol).
I'm also not able to "immerse" myself as the MC as well as in the past. Sure the lack of choices participate in it but it also feels like the MC whom I previously understood and knew isn't the same. What I mean is, he feels foreign, if he got his memories back, then we should have a flashback of those to be able to immerse ourselves. Another thing why is the dev hiding from us what the MC saw in the drawings? Am I not supposed to be playing the MC? I could've understood if it was any other character seeing the drawings though as I'm not supposed to be playing as them.
All of this makes me feel like the dev/s is purposefully trying to break the immersion we built with the MC.
Also it'd be great to have an in-game recap of the story as it's becoming quite the long one.

no but choices are obvious if has few braincells left. quite kinetic but not fully kinetic (not sure what is required to get game tagged as kinetic per F95's rules since even game with no other choices and press start and click away got labeled as vn despite it was 100% kn)

I started this game, couple of updates, but then like, the game slipped me by ......
I downloaded the last version and started from scratch.....
Wooow, I said Wooow.... Everything I loved in all the adventure games i played in all my life was in there

Everything about this story is so well written, all the characters have their different characteristics differences....

Dev.... I´ve been through things in my life that, hmmmmmm, I smoke a joint and this game woke up feelings I diddnt have since childhood....
I was fucking crying playing.... You woke feelings I diddnt have since years.......
Every scene, sound effects, scenes you used "Sweet Dreams".... mmmmmm fuck yeah
Future referense, you could use for the horror scenes "Sweet Dreams" made by Marylin Manson, more scary
I mean, every character, was laughing my ass of when Danni is making money buhahahaha But humor based? Tilly is fucking hillarious, fucking love her Somebody was complaining about Maddy? Man i love this Maddy love segment now we wait for the next step. The Bad Ass Jehannes, her only will to revenge... Fuck everybody, thats me man mixed with the MC I love her Every character has theis own story, thats life, love it...
All the images when they were litte, man, thats my life....
Every special effect combined with the sound effects and the music???? Every animation is soo good!!!!!!!! Man, you are like a professional big game company....

That was a really big post. Glad you're enjoying the game, the writing required a lot of research. The characters... well they just kind of happened. I just helped bring them to life.

I just checked the entire game (A_Fathers_Sins-Chapter_38_public-pc) for any case of "interrupt" being misspelled. There were none. There may be other misspellings that I did not catch, but that word was never spelled wrong in any form in all 38 game days.Woow Dev......
